Last summer, we introduced Pier Portraits to benefit Maxinkuckee Adventure Sailing, the non-profit organization in Culver, established to teach kids and adults how to sail and love the water. We had so much fun doing it and raised over $1200 which was donated to help fund the foundation. This summer we will once again be offering selective dates for very special Family Pier or Boat Portraits to give back to our favorite charity.
Lake life and family life. Here on Lake Maxinkuckee those go hand in hand. The lake is a favorite place to be together and we certainly have a special spot! With camp back on for Woodcraft & Upper Camp at Culver Academies, we know it will be a very busy summer! Don’t forget…we only take on a very limited number of special camp portraits too. So don’t wait to decide if you want to book either of these with Becky this summer!
You can choose to fund a need or make any donation to the program and you’ll receive a Family Pier Portrait! Each session will take place on a family’s pier and I will come by boat to your lake home and photograph your family from the water. If you don’t have a lake home and still want a family pier portrait, we can do your family’s portrait at the beach or on your boat! Included with every Pier Portrait session that funds one of the Maxinkuckee Adventure Sailing needs is a Matted Fine Art 8×10 Print of the Artist’s Choice and the matching digital file with printing rights valued at over $600! A percentage from any additional orders from the session will be donated to the program as well.
___ A gift of $390 will provide one need-based scholarship to attend a Maxinkuckee Adventure Sailing Camp
___ A gift of $500 will support one of our instructors with US Sailing Certification.
___ A gift of $1000 provides a life jacket, hat and shirt for all of our instructors.
____ A gift of $3500 will buy an O’pen Bic Skiff boat for the program (youth boat)
___ A gift of $5,000 will buy one of three RS Zest sailboats needed (for older youth and adults).
___ A gift of $20,000 will buy a much-needed coach boat
We know there are a few O’pen Bic sailboats around the Lake. If you own one and are no longer using it,
please consider donating it to the program.
